The Gratitude Pause
Thursdays · 11.00–11.45am
Life can leave the mind noticing everything that is missing, unfinished or going wrong.
For 45 minutes, pause.
Through simple guided Raja Yoga meditation, reconnect with the quiet self, notice what is already good, and draw on a deeper source of peace, love and strength.
Raja Yoga is a simple meditation practised sitting comfortably on a chair — no mats, postures or physical yoga.
No discussion. Nothing to prepare. Simply sit, listen and leave feeling lighter.
Free · Beginners very welcome
Gratitude is more than simply being thankful. It is a way of seeing that can change the quality of our thoughts, our relationships and the way we experience everyday life.
In these sessions we will explore how gratitude can help us notice what is already good, value the people around us, recognise our own inner strengths and find something steady even during difficult times. Through simple reflection and meditation, we will look at how attention shapes experience, how peaceful and appreciative thoughts affect the way we feel, and how a connection with the Divine can bring a deeper sense of fullness, support and perspective.
Each week has a different theme, but the approach is simple and practical. No previous experience of meditation is needed.
This event is offered by the Brahma Kumaris.
