Half-Day Retreat / Saturday 18 April / 10.30am – 12.30pm
Spring Clean Your Heart
Ash Patel
Our heart is the powerhouse of our life. Harbouring ill feelings, old wounds, heartaches, past traumas and rejection can cause our heart to become bitter and heavy. These symptoms are often a sign that we have neglected our inner world — our thoughts, our feelings, and the quality of our thinking.
Through Raja Yoga meditation and greater awareness, we can begin to notice these patterns with compassion rather than judgement. By bringing kindness and elevated thinking into our inner space, we allow the heart to gradually heal and lighten.
Join Ash in learning to take the first steps out of these feelings, so that you can begin to change into a more empowering and renewed version of yourself.
Speaker: Ash Patel
Ash was introduced to Raja Yoga meditation at an early age, and gradually recognised the profound value of its teachings in all aspects of his life. He draws inspiration from his own experiences, with a particular interest in inner healing, self-compassion and heartfulness. Ash is based in Worthing.
Ash Patel is a practitioner of Raja Yoga meditation and its teachings, having realised the transformative power of meditation and good wishes for inner healing. Combining his sales leadership experience with the principles of heartfulness and compassion, he finds joy in helping others unlock their healing potential through lectures, workshops and retreats.

Who We Are …The Brahma Kumaris is a worldwide organisation dedicated to personal transformation and world renewal through the power of meditation.
It has an ongoing interest in developing programs that empower the individual.
Originally founded in India in 1937, there are one million students world-wide across 110 countries.
Those who know the Brahma Kumaris may know them for wearing white,
for the fact that they are led by women,
for their practice of open-eyed meditation, for their emphasis on self-transformation or for their greeting of “Om Shanti.”
They do not chant, they have a minimal number of rituals and they have a practice of Raja Yoga Meditation that involves self-transformation through elevated thoughts and connection with The Divine in silence…
What most don’t know about the Brahma Kumaris is the base of knowledge that constitutes their foundation.
Raja Yoga, is a path of lifelong learning, study and application in daily life.
Because they understand this knowledge to be so vital for the world at this time, the Brahma Kumaris have undertaken to share it more broadly…
We hope you enjoy…
