Half Day Retreat : Unwrapping Inner Calm

Unwrapping Inner Calm

As the festive season unfolds, take a gentle pause to reconnect with peace. This half-day retreat offers time to step away from the rush, quiet the mind, and rediscover the calm that lies within. Through guided meditation, reflection, and stillness, give yourself the most precious gift of all — inner peace.

As the hustle of the season gathers pace, join us for a Saturday morning retreat where we gently pause and turn inwards. Drawing on the simple yet profound practice of Raja Yoga meditation, we will explore how stillness, self-reflection and soulful connection help us rediscover our deeper nature of peace. In the warm company of like-minded seekers, you’ll be invited to un-wrap the layers of stress, expectation and busyness — and welcome the silent clarity that lies beyond. Whether you’re new to meditation or familiar with the path, the morning offers guided meditation, reflective sharing and serene space to renew your spirit. Gift yourself the calm that carries into your world.

Short Talks, Guided Meditations, Reflection Questions, Group discussions, Q & A, Tea & Coffee

Raja Yoga Meditation helps you understand yourself as a soul and find inner peace.
Every soul has greatness and is special.
But not every soul is aware of their unique qualities and is energised to activate their special virtues.  Creating calm thoughts will develop inner stability.
Wasting  the energy of thought will lead to feelings of weak & fear.
So maintaining a regular meditation practice can sustain the power of the mind. Faith brings lightness, certainty, and spiritual happiness.
Your faith will be tested, so continue to check your foundations.

Note : This is not physical exercises.  You  will be seated on a chair whilst listening, discussing, meditating.

Who We Are …The Brahma Kumaris is a worldwide organisation dedicated to personal transformation and world renewal through the power of meditation.
It has an ongoing interest in developing programs that empower the individual.
Originally founded in India in 1937, there are one million students world-wide across 110 countries.
Those who know the Brahma Kumaris may know them for wearing white,
for the fact that they are led by women,
for their practice of open-eyed meditation, for their emphasis on self-transformation or for their greeting of “Om Shanti.”
They do not chant, they have a minimal number of rituals and they have a practice of Raja Yoga Meditation that involves self-transformation through elevated thoughts and connection with The Divine in silence…
What most don’t know about the Brahma Kumaris is the base of knowledge that constitutes their foundation.
Raja Yoga, is a path of lifelong learning, study and application in daily life.
Because they understand this knowledge to be so vital for the world at this time, the Brahma Kumaris have undertaken to share it more broadly…
We hope you enjoy…
