After spending four years as a scientist in the pharmaceutical industry, David left the industry to write and educate people in the various ways they can harness their mind and emotions for better health. He is now author 9 books. He appears regularly in the media and was recently featured on Channel 4, ‘Sunday Brunch’, in the UK and CBS Sunday Morning in the US, talking about kindness on both occasions.

David will share insights on:

how to harness your mind and emotions for better health

how kindness physically impacts the heart

how Kindness slows ageing

... and much more.

Sister Jayanti is the European Director of the Brahma Kumaris.

She has been practising Raja Yoga Meditation for 45 years. She is a highly respected and articulate speaker whose clarity of mind and deep understanding of spiritual truth enables her to combine the wisdom of the East and West in a practical and inspiring way. She is the author of several books on meditation.

Sister Jayanti will share insights to enable you to:

Increase inner strength

Develop confidence in yourself

Empower yourself to face and overcome the challenges in your life

We are living in the most exciting and challenging time in the history of the world.   Many things seem to be falling apart and we can no longer take anything for granted.

In such circumstances, we need to be very silent so that we can tap into all the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual resources necessary to deal successfully with whatever comes our way.

How Resilient are YOU?

When adversity strikes, how well do you cope?

Have you developed your ‘bounce-back-ability’?

Or do you collapse in a heap and need an army of supporters to pull you through?

Everyone’s idea of adversity is different as we each have our own values, beliefs, perceptions and expectations.

What is a disaster to one person can be less than a pin-prick to another.

Our level of resilience is linked to how quickly we can change our thinking and dissolve our emotionally reactive states.

Not so easy without daily practice.   Each person’s capacity to recover varies but it is a capacity that can be strengthened and expanded.

If we can be still and observe our thinking, perhaps we can view the  adversity as a messenger.

And the message is simple.

There is something we need to change within our own consciousness.

“My personal secret to staying unflappable is:

No matter what my health is like, or how many commitments

& meetings I may have, I always maintain my discipline

of daily meditation and spiritual study.

Make time to experience your inner peace.

When there’s peace, there’s love, then there’s happiness,

and in happiness there is power.

Then nothing can disturb you.

Keep smiling, keep going and simply, enjoy the journey.”
